Pre-school session

All children from 2 years of age are welcome as long as they bring an adult with them. It is an ideal opportunity to meet the children and staff and to get to know the classroom and outdoor areas. Gardening club – September 2016

September is a time for harvesting and clearing up ready for the winter. We have also planted pots of daffodil bulbs to sell at the Christmas Fair. Thanks to parents Anna and Heidi for helping out. The children at gardening club are very proud of their new bug hotel. We also have a new compost area at the front of school making it easier to transport to our garden.

Our after school club

Clifton Primary School runs a vibrant and active After School club from 3:30 –> 5:30 every day.  Whole or half sessions can be booked at a cost of £5.50 and £3.50 each. We aim to provide a relaxed and informal environment for children of all ages.  Snacks and drinks are provided and a range of activities organised.

Den building

September’s lovely weather has meant we have been able to play outside a lot. Den building is always popular and a paddle is a great way to cool down.   Den building has become a favourite activity at After School club – indoors or out! Our new play space in the wooded area is a good place for dens.

Art club – 2016

With Art Club nearing it’s end and the lovely spring weather we put together some of the skills we had practised to make lovely tree pictures. We painted brightly coloured backgrounds and then did observational sketches of trees in the playground which we put on top of the colourful patterns. Look how different they all are.
